Christmas and New Year's weeks were busy ones at Wolf Creek Ski Area. As many of our visitors come from / or through areas other than Denver and the Front Range, they didn't have a difficult time reaching their holiday destination. With fresh snow and many blue-sky days, everyone had a delightful ski vacation.

It's been 4 days since the last storm moved through, and another is due to arrive tomorrow. Think I'll take advantage of this sunny day to go skiing. At Wolf Creek, I know that I can find incredible untracked powder 4 days after the last dump...you need to do some hiking to reach it, but there are still glades and glades of untouched snow - within the area boundaries!
